The purpose of this listing is to help us find free camping for COM’ers ‘As You Go’ to or from mission projects.  We recommend that you contact the Contact Person prior to making plans to stay at a particular site to insure accessibility at your time of need.

Directions to location: US 231 runs south from Dothan, Alabama to Panama City, Florida. US 231 has mile markers posted which start at the state line. Decatur Road intersects US 231 two and one half miles north of the Florida/Alabama state line. Go east on Decatur road one quarter mile to the Madrid Baptist Church which is on the north side of road. It is right on top the hill and is visible from US 231. Pull into the driveway on east side of church facilities. The two electrical receptacles are close to building electrical service panels. They are between side walk and electrical panels. A water faucet is within hose reach.

Sewer Dump Site Information: There is a free dump station at the Alabama Welcome Center which is located on the east side of US 231 just north of the Florida/Alabama state line. It is accessible by northbound and southbound traffic. There are adequate median crossovers to facilitate entrance from either direction. The dump station is right at the entrance to the Welcome Center. The Welcome center is within two and one half miles of the Madrid Baptist Church.
